What loan amount should I request?
For a new or used vehicle purchase from a dealer, we suggest that you apply for an amount greater than the amount you think you'll need in order to give yourself some flexibility.
Your actual loan amount will be the amount of the vehicle you purchase, which can include the sale price of your vehicle, taxes, licensing and registration fees, and extended warranty/service contracts, less the value of your trade in and/or down payment.
Capital One Auto Finance does not finance GAP or other insurance products.
Before applying for a vehicle refinance, we suggest you obtain your 10-day payoff amount from your current lender in order to determine how much you owe on your vehicle.
You may want to add an additional $100 to cover any extra interest that accrues between the time you request your payoff and the payoff funds are processed by your lender.
